Gil adds 32 years of lending experience to 'team NWBDA', including 20 years with the Small Business Administration specializing in the 504 and 7a loan programs.
Gil is excited to join NWBDA and in the process help businesses grow and prosper. At a time when the U.S. is losing jobs, the 504 program is one that helps create and retain jobs.
As of October 1, 2005, Gil assumed the responsibilities as President of NWBDA.

Debbie is pleased to join the team of NWBDA. Debbie brings with her over 20 years of lending experience, primarily in the SBA field.
Debbie started her SBA career as a liquidation specialist in 1985 and worked her way up the ladder through all the various facets of SBA lending. She recently served as a Business Development Officer for one of the largest 7(a) lenders in the nation.

Elizabeth joined the NWBDA team in July 2006. She has been in the banking industry for over 21 years, of which 16 years has been dedicated to the SBA 7(a) and 504 loan programs. Elizabeth has been actively involved in all SBA programs and related advocacy group and looks forward to using her skills in the industry to benefit the lenders and small business owners in the Puget Sound region. In 2002, the SBA named Elizabeth the Financial Services Advocate of the Year for the State of Washington.
Elizabeth serves the entire western Washington region north of I-90 to the Canadian boarder.

Erik Houser has more than 25 years experience in all areas of banking including retail, private, small business, middle market and corporate banking. His experience also includes 2 years of SBA 504 lending with a Certified Development Company in Ohio and 5 years in economic development work providing economic assistance and business financing to minority and under-served communities. For more than 10 years he has specialized in SBA lending utilizing the SBA 7(a) and 504 loan programs to finance many commercial real estate transactions, business acquisitions and working capital requirements.

John has 27+ years in commercial lending experience including SBA 7a and 504 loans. He has worked for a number of large commercial banks in Oregon and Washington both as a loan officer and a credit administrator. He also worked for Washington Department of Financial Institutions Division of Credit Unions examining commercial lenders loan portfolios. John works with lenders and clients in the Central Washington region from Ritzville to Cle Elum and Omak to the Oregon border.
He is a graduate of Oregon State University with a BSc in Economics. He resides in Moses Lake, Washington where he and his wife own a small business. As a lender and a small business owner he understands the credit needs of businesses and the challenges of financing a small business. He looks forward to helping you with your credit needs.

Mike is a 10-year veteran with our organization specializing in SBA 504 production. He is a recent graduate of Eastern Washington University's MBA Program and received his bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Colorado, Boulder, in 1986. He also brings to the table several years of commercial lending and credit administration experience with a large regional commercial bank.
Mike enjoys a stellar record for SBA 504 debenture processing and welcomes any opportunity to partner with lenders interested in helping their customers utilize this excellent SBA backed program. Mike looks forward to continuing to work with our lending partners to help administer this important tool for small businesses.

Tracy joined NWBDA early in 2004 as a legal assistant. In 2005, she accepted the responsibilities of Operations Manager for the company and, in 2006, became a certified Paralegal. She brings several years of legal experience to the company and enjoys using her expertise and education not only to ensure the smooth operations of the company but also assisting our attorneys close loans.
Tracy is excited to be involved in the ever-expanding 504 loan process. She looks forward to the challenges that lie ahead for NWBDA and the 504 Program.

Mary joined NWBDA in November of 2004 as receptionist/closing assistant and quickly moved full-time into the closing department. She is now the loan utilities specialist and assists in processing and loan submission.

Pam joined the NWBDA staff in November 2001 with many office management skills. She is A+ Certified and consulted in the redesign of our website as well. Pam has been part of the credit analyst and loan processing department for two years. In March of 2008 she completed her bachelor's degree in Business Management and is pursuing a 2nd degree in Finance that will be completed in November of 2008.

DeAnn is new to the Seattle area and the 504-loan program. She brings with her numerous years of lending experience from Origination through the final funding of loans. She has a strong customer service background, however her attention to accuracy and detail makes processing the loans her finest suit.

Josh became a part of NWBDA in February of 2008. Joining us as a former loan officer in the real estate banking industry, Josh brings to our team his experience in real estate lending, and well rounded knowledge of the financial industry.
Josh is currently working toward his bachelor’s degree, and plans to obtain his degree within the next few years. He later plans to pursue a degree in law, and begin a career as a real estate attorney.
As the son of a successful small business owner, Josh understands the financial needs of small businesses in today’s economy, and is excited to be part of an industry which works to help businesses in meeting those needs.

Colleen Ruggles has over 23 years of experience in commercial loan closing, documentation, and servicing. She gained valuable knowledge of SBA loans while working for 13 years for the U.S. Small Business Administration as a legal assistant. Her SBA background and her expertise on the 504 loan program make Colleen a key asset to the NWBDA staff.
Colleen has been with NWBDA since October 2005. She looks forward to assisting small businesses for many years to come along with the NWBDA team, its lender partners and SBA.
