What We Do
Summary
At NWBDA, we help small to medium-sized businesses grow and prosper by providing fixed asset financing at reasonable rates and terms through the SBA 504 Loan Program that would otherwise not be available.
Regional Scope
NWBDA is a dynamic company staffed and managed by a team of lending professionals. We are licensed by the U.S. Small Business Administration to administer the 504 loan program in the state of WA, 10 counties in North Idaho, and four counties in Northern Oregon. We have Business Development Officers in Spokane, Seattle, Central Washington and the Vancouver / Southwestern areas to serve small business needs. A board of directors, composed of experienced community and business leaders, oversees the company.
History and Experience
We have a proven success record. Since NWBDA was established in 1982, we have helped over 1200 businesses obtain in excess of $292 million in total financing through the SBA 504 loan program, and over $822 million in total project costs. In May of 2004, NWBDA received an SBA Annual Performance Award for Greatest Increase in Percentage of 504 Loan Approvals in the category for Portfolios over $25 Million from the National Association of Development Companies.
Mission and Goals
As a Certified Development Company (CDC), we are licensed by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to help administer the SBA's 504 loan program. Our mission is to support business growth, job creation and job retention by providing quality small business loan services in partnership with local lenders and the SBA. NWBDA saves both the business owner and the participating lender time by working directly with the SBA to organize, package, process, and close the 504 loan. We are very proud to play a part in the economic growth and stability of our region. We look forward to continuing to provide loans through the 504 loan program that help businesses grow.
