NWBDA is thrilled to announce that John Bigovich has joined our team as the new VP, Business Development Officer for East Central Washington. John brings deep expertise in small business finance and a genuine dedication to supporting local entrepreneurs.
In his new role, he will collaborate closely with area businesses and Third Party Lenders, providing clear and expert guidance throughout the SBA 504 lending process. NWBDA is excited for the impact John will make in the region.
John Bigovich brings over 20 years of experience in originating commercial real estate, construction, and equipment financing. He leverages proactive communication, multi-sector underwriting expertise, and a consultative approach to build strong relationships and help clients grow their businesses.
John’s Experience
A proud “Spokane Valley Boy,” John recently returned home after serving diverse markets across Western Washington, Eastern Montana, and Western North Dakota during the Bakken shale oil boom. Leveraging NWBDA organizing, packaging and funding SBA 504 loans, John will assist Central and Eastern Washington bankers identify and finance more commercial fixed-asset loans for small businesses.
Outside of work, John enjoys reading, golfing, going to the gym, cheering on his WSU Cougars, and spending time with family and friends. An animal lover without pets of his own, he has become the go-to pet sitter for many friends in Spokane Valley.
John brings valuable experience and a strong dedication to supporting small business success, making him a standout addition to our team. NWBDA is eager to see the positive influence he’ll have as he works to expand access to meaningful financing and strengthen local communities. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
As we reflect on the past year, we’re filled with gratitude for the incredible partners, lenders, business owners, and community organizations that make up the NWBDA network. Each of you plays a vital role in supporting small businesses and strengthening the economic foundation of our region. We’re thankful for the collaboration, trust, and shared purpose we’ve experienced throughout 2025.
This year brought meaningful progress, from new partnerships and expanded community programs to inspiring stories of entrepreneurs who turned vision into reality. Your dedication and engagement have helped fuel economic opportunity across the Northwest, and we’re proud to stand alongside you in this work.
The holiday season also gives us a chance to recognize the many people behind the scenes who make these successes possible: the advisors, loan officers, volunteers, mentors, and teams who show up every day to support business owners and help our regional economy grow. Your commitment truly makes a difference.
As you celebrate the holidays, whether through cherished traditions, time with family, or a well-earned winter break, we hope the season brings you joy, rest, and connection.
Thank you for being such an important part of our mission. We’re excited to carry this momentum into 2026 and continue building a strong, vibrant future for the communities we serve.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and warm wishes for a bright New Year!
