Don Maryon Headshot

NWBDA is excited to announce Don Maryon has joined us as our Incoming President. He will assume the President’s role on October 1, 2020. We are all excited to have Don on our team and we know that his extensive experience with all areas of commercial lending, his strong leadership skills, and his local and economic development activities will be very valuable to NWBDA staff, our lending partners, and the SBA 504 loan program.

Don has been in banking for 35 years, with 34 of those years in lending. His roles have included working as a lender, a team leader, and chief credit officer. Don has personally partnered with NWBDA in the 504 loan program. He recently served as the Commercial Loan Manager with First Interstate Bank in Coeur d’Alene.

He was the Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer at Community First Bank prior to their acquisition of First Interstate Bank. He has served as a Regional Team Leader and Senior Commercial Loan Officer in California prior to moving to the Inland Northwest in 2004.

We are excited to have Don join us as our new President and look forward to witnessing his leadership and growth of NWBDA in the future. As soon as travel is possible, Don will be touring the areas we serve to meet with all our lending partners. In the interim, Don would love to meet you electronically at 509-458-8555, ext. 2125, or through email at dmaryon@nwbusiness.org.
