As a non-profit organization, NWBDA is able to provide grants on an annual basis to other organizations or programs who provide an economic or community development in the areas that NWBDA serves. This year, NWBDA, along with it’s affiliated company 9019 RE Holdings LLC, was able to give away a grand total of $194,000 to businesses, organizations and programs who provide a direct impact to their community.

About Economic Development Alliance of Skagit County: The Economic Development Alliance of Skagit County carries out business attraction, retention and expansion and collaborative engagement to achieve a prosperous, sustainable and equitable community while maintaining Skagit County’s natural beauty and quality of life.

EDASC focuses on Economic Development reflecting all aspects of a prosperous and healthy community that supports growth, job creation, job retention that values equity, inclusion and sustainability. EDASC initiatives include small business support programs, workshops, helping businesses secure incentives and financing they need to grow; Leadership development, administering emergency grant funding for local business and business retention and recruitment.

This Grant will help: by supporting their economic development programing. That programing would include entrepreneurial support and workforce development.
